The Arkitainer will be a 64-unit apartment building made largely of shipping containers on East 72nd Street north of St. Clair Avenue, in a section of the St. Clair-Superior neighborhood that's home to a jumble of warehouses, manufacturing complexes and houses.
This cutting edge container apartment construction development is going to breathe new life into the East 72nd Street community. This development area is targeted to become the Edgewater Park of the East; located adjacent to Gordon Park, Interstate 90, St. Clair and Commerce Park District.
